FOTD/teeth whitening products follow up/fix+ dupe

uggh i really didnt get good photos at all, which makes me sad as i liked my makeup. and ignore me cracking my knuckles in the first one, haha xx

i used satin taupe, carbon, magnetics fields, shroom and laura mercier topaz eyeshadow :)

TEETH WHITENING:

many of you have asked me about this and i need to take pictures of my teeth today to update you on them! theyre super white :)

but heres before:

^i didnt think they were so bad, but judging by the pics, they werent as white as i thought :(

but now, lo and behold:

(i really hope you can tell in the pic that they are indeed whiter. i snapped it really quick though cuz i was on my way out)

and theyre EVEN whiter now! :)

here is the product, i urge all of you to go out and buy it :)

i did NOT buy the kit, like some of you asked me. i just bought hte gel and went to a sportings good store to get mouth guards and cut off the strap. once i cut off some of the backs and molded them to my teeth, they work great!

FIX+ DUPE: SEA PLASMA SKIN AND HAIR MOISTURIZER BY FOCUS 21

i got this from pavillions, but its quite hard to find.

its a hair and face moisturizer and i love it- it makes me look glowy and doesnt make me break out. i love it even more than fix+ because of the cost ($15 vs. $5) and for the fact it makes me look dewey and glowy, but never oily. i use it pre-foundation, after powder, and after highlight :)

my title of this post is quite a handful but i have so much to ramble on about!

LUSH!

first off, i have THE softest smoothest legs ever all thanks to two lush products :)

i used the buffy bar all over my arms and legs in the shower and let it sit for about 2 minutes. i washed it off and then put a bit more on and just patted it off this time. i then put the massage bar all over my body (when i was dry)! i am now silky smooth and smelling awesome :)

definitely give those two a try!

TEETH WHITENING!

okay, i dont have yellow teeth by any means, but i've always admired SUPER bright white teeth like that of Jessica Simpsons.

Anyways, today i was watching Kandee's videos on youtube and saw she reccommended a product called "plus white 5 minute speed whitening gel"

she has absolutely beautiful teeth so of course i went out and bought it, esp upon realizing it was so cheap! i used it tonight and i have to say i already love it. i can already see a difference and will post a picture of my pre-whitening teeth (i have a picture on my camera, ill upload it tom, promise!) and then ill show a picture every few days with some progress, hopefully :)

MUA aka Makeup Artist!

It's been a dream of mine to do makeup for a few years now and a subscriber of mine recently asked me if i could do hers. i was blown away since all ive posted on here has been quick messy makeup! anyways, i quickly agreed but now i am asking all of you- i am looking to build my portfolio and would LOVE to try out makeup and take pictures of anyone whos interested in! I live in southern california, so please comment me and/or message me if interested :)

WORKING OUT!

I havent worked out in ages,although I do dance EVERY day! I literally will just put music on and dance around for an hour :) its so fun and it helps me stay in shape. Once school starts again, I look forward to going to gym every day and cross country, but Ive also decided Im going to start walking more, esp with my dog :) it'll get both of us in shape quick! My goal is not to lose weight or tone up (I'm currently pleased with where I am), but to just be active :)

my friend and i went to LA for the day, except got lost (with navigation!) and ended up in woodland hills instead of santa monica, but finally after 5 hours between heavy traffic and getting lost and stopping for lunch, we ended up at Third Street Promenade in santa monica! i'll do a seperate post on my hauling (stuff from steve madden, lush, urban outfitters, etc.), im about to head out the door :) x

and my boyfriend's off to visit his sister at college next week and will be gone for our 1 year :( so were celebrating tomorrrow instead ! i have yet to figure out what im wearing, but itll be something neutral (i.e. something black or gray) so any makeup will match, but recs for some looks please, im thinking something smokey perhaps :) lemme know, thanks lovess xxxx

hair products i use and giveaway

hey girlies,

a few of you have asked me what products i use for my hair :)

i have pretty fine hair, but a lot of it. and it is virgin hair, meaning it has never been colored or highlighted. my hair can be extremely oily at times or extremely dry depending on the weather.

my shampoo and conditioner, along with deep conditioner, differs- i have a whole assortment in the shower and just use whatever i reach first for :)

I do use specific hair products though!:

the first two are leave-in conditioners and the last is a heat-protectant spray. all are HG's and smell so good and leave my hair incredibly soft.

a lot of girls have messaged me in regards to my skin care :) first of all, thank you, im flattered.

second off, i do not have perfect skin now by any means but my skin HAS improved a lot.

sorry there are no closeups, i took thee quickly and now my camera died :( face: revlon colorstay sephora bronzer-riviera chanel mocha eyes: satin taupe woodwinked carbon vanilla pigment dark edge blacktrack rimmel sexy curves lips: NARS chelsea girls and to show my skins been improving, thank G-d :) AWFUL picture-no makeup whatsoever and my nose looks huge and no it's still not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better. i've been using queen helene's masque lately as both a mask and a spot treatment and in the morning, i was with clearasil and at night, i was with this face wash from trader joes :)

for those who don't know, dupes are products that look like one another, although one of them is usually for less. i was dying to buy this gorgeous eyeshadow at Sephora today, although i realized i already have quite a few similar to it anyways. on to a few dupes i have of my own...

Too Faced Label Whore vs. MAC Blue Brown

Blue Brown on left, Label Whore on right

Overall: Blue Brown can turn red quicker than Label Whore; another difference is that Label Whore turns smokier when packed on, while Blue Brown just sort of tends to wipe off if you put too much. Price wise, the MAC is a better deal because you get loads more product for $2.50 more :) But the Too Faced is definitely more convenient for touch ups because it's not as messy as the MAC which is loose eyeshadow. (my Too Faced looks loose only because it shattered, which is another downside-these eyeshadows are INCREDIBLY soft and fragile:( kjhvf)

MAC Moth Brown vs. Sephora Brand Mono #09

Sephora on left, MAC on right:

The MAC is more purple toned, while the Sephora has some gray in it. Moth Brown is limited edition, so while these two aren't identical, I still feel the Sephora is a great dupe- I even tend to reach for the Sehpora one more :)

Overall, MAC Green Brown is *not* a dupe for Old Gold, but Old Gold and Jesse's Girl are verrrry similar in pictures, and even more so irl, the only difference being the price :)
